shoppers need look no further than the Annual Fall Book Sale
at the Wauconda Area Library, which will be held Friday,
October 7 through Sunday, October 9. The book sale is
sponsored by the Friends of the
Wauconda Area Library. Thousands of books, music
CD’s, VHS videos, DVD's and more will be available at this
Special Friends Preview Night October
Friends of the Library are invited to the "Friends Preview Night" on
Thursday, October 6 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Annual
memberships and renewals will be made available at the
library’s information desk in advance and also during
the Preview Night as well as throughout the sale.
Friends of the Library enrich the community by raising funds
to support library services. The Friends
also act as library advocates and work to ensure that the
community understands the importance of the library.

Becoming a Friend of the Library has its
advantages! Members of the Friends are entitled to a 50%
discount on all Friends-sale books. The Friends meet on
the second Wednesday of the month at 7:30 p.m. in the
Genevieve Lincoln Meeting Room -- we'd love to have you join
us, but coming to our meetings is not a requirement for
