It’s that time of year when the snow falls and falls and falls.  While it can make traveling a bit tiresome, winter also presents us with many wonderful opportunities to spend quality time together.  Here are just a few ideas of what to do with your family and all that snow!

In need of tax assistance?

Free income tax assistance is available to seniors 60 and older on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from February 12-April 9, 2008. Appointment scheduling starts at 9:00 a.m. Appointments must be made at the Adult Services Reference Desk in person or by calling 847-526-6225 x203.

You must bring the following items with you:

  • Copy of last year’s tax return

  • 1099 forms

  • W-2 forms

  • Estimated tax payments

  • Property taxes paid

If you are filing jointly both parties need to attend the appointment together.
