Who Do You Think You Are?
The new TV show Who Do You Think You Are? (NBC) has sparked a lot of interest in ancestry. Ever wonder about your family tree? The library subscribes to Ancestry.com and HeritageQuest Online, two powerful user-friendly online services enabling you to trace your family history.
Ancestry.com is not only the world's largest online resource for family history documents, but it provides access to its vast database of historical records, photos, stories, family trees, and a collaborative community of millions. Ancestry.com is free for library patrons accessing the database from library computers.
HeritageQuest Online also delivers an essential collection of genealogical and historical sources - with coverage dating back to the 1700s - that can help people find their ancestors and discover a place's past. Unlike Ancestry.com, HeritageQuest Online is available both in-library and via remote access to library cardholders.
Check out these valuable resources and much more at the library's website - www.wauclib.org and under Reference & Research.
