There is always something new happening at the library, and we are continually keeping the community informed of our many programs and services. Of course, the best way to keep is to visit our web site often!
Online Program Registration
Now program registration is easier than ever with our online registration. Some rules and restrictions apply:
*Please note you must be a Wauconda area resident during the first week of registration. If you are a non-resident and you register online for a program during the first week of registration, your name may be placed on a wait list if a particular program is full. We will contact you by phone or by email.
*You must still register in-person for all reading clubs and programs requiring a fee.
Newsletter
Published and mailed 4 times per year, the newsletter is mailed to every home and business in the library district. In order to view the newsletter online, you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader.

The Wauconda Area Library e-News is an electronic newsletter published monthly and distributed by email. Subscribe online to receive your copy.

Annual Library Card Sign-Up Month
Every September the library participates in the national event, Library Card Sign-Up Month. This is a time to remind everyone of the importance of libraries. It's the perfect time to a new library card or dig your old one out of your wallet if you haven't used it in while.
