Thanksgiving Holiday Closing

The Library will close early on Wednesday, November 27th at 5:00 p.m. and remain closed on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 28th. We will reopen at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, November 29th.

Our Mission

The Wauconda Area Public Library District enriches the community by engaging our diverse population with resources and services that explore creativity, foster imagination, nurture lifelong learning, and promote literacy and connection in a welcoming environment.

Annual Reports

The library's fiscal year runs from July 1 to June 30, so each annual report covers the second half of one year and the first half of the next year.

Please note that Annual reports for FY2009/2010 and FY2008/2009 are not available.

Beginning in 2020 and 2021, the format changed to a more user-friendly infographic style format. Reports from those years and moving forward will reflect calendar years.
