Thanksgiving Holiday Closing

The Library will close early on Wednesday, November 27th at 5:00 p.m. and remain closed on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 28th. We will reopen at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, November 29th.

The Wauconda Area Library strives to provide patrons with access to a wide variety of materials, including books, audiobooks, videos, CDs and more. If we do not own an item you are interested in borrowing, we will consider purchasing the title for our collection, or we will attempt to borrow it through interlibrary loan.

Before filling out this request form, please check the catalog to see if we already own the item you are interested in.

Requests for any items released within the past 6 months will go to our Collections staff. All other requests will go to our Interlibrary Loan staff.

To request multiple items, please fill out the form 1 time for each item.
Your account must be in good standing (less than $10 in charges on an account).
Limits 5 requests at any given time per patron.
It may take up to 2 weeks or longer to receive an item
