Thanksgiving Holiday Closing

The Library will close early on Wednesday, November 27th at 5:00 p.m. and remain closed on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 28th. We will reopen at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, November 29th.

Event Details

Join the Wauconda Township Historical Society to hear captivating stories about early citizens at the Wauconda Cemetery. Our tour guide Mary Cook will lead us as we listen to costumed historical figures talk about themselves and their lives. Wauconda Cemetery is located on Barrington Road, approximately 1 block south of the intersection of Route 176 (Liberty Street). Parking will be available at the Federated Church.

Registration is recommended through the library.

No charge, but donations will be accepted for the Historical Society at the program.
