Due to the replacement of the library's air conditioning units and roof recover, the library will be in limited services and closed for a period of time in August & September.  We apologize for the inconvenience this causes. Please understand the timeline is also dependent on external factors such as weather. We will provide updates to services as the projects are underway.

  • Kid City will be closed starting Monday, August 14 - Sunday, September 10. The main level of the library will remain open.
  • The whole library will be closed from September 11 through September 21. There will be no in-person services offered. From 9/11 – 9/21 book drops will not be available to return your items. If your materials are due during 9/11-9/21, please keep them until the library reopens. Programs will be canceled unless you are otherwise notified.
  • The whole library will be reopened on Friday, September 22 if the projects go as planned

We hope to see you in the next couple of weeks to gather your materials, use computers and study rooms, attend programs, pick up craft kits, and get what you need.  Area libraries have also been notified and will offer similar services while we are closed.  Please view our FAQ below and partner library list for more information.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during this time.

Elizabeth Greenup, Director
